Syllabus & Pattern

IELTS tests all 4 skills of using a language namely Listening, Speaking, Reading & writing. As such there is no fixed syllabus for preparing to IELTS. Speaking module of IELTS is conducted Face to Face, and the examiner assesses the test taker in real time. This interaction is also recorded, for future references.

Each of skills is tested in each segment and the total length of test is about 2 hours 45 minutes. All test takers take the same Listening and Speaking tests, while the Reading and Writing tests differ depending on whether the test taker is taking the Academic or General Training versions of the test.
